Recent flooding highlighted the community’s vulnerability, leaving many in unsafe living conditions without adequate food or sanitation. In response, the Board is exploring preventative measures like sandbagging efforts — and your support can help make them possible.
Minimizing our Footprint
At Marina Flamingo, we’re committed to environmental responsibility. Our on-site waste management facilities follow best practices to reduce overall waste by nearly 50%. All organic waste is donated to a local farm in Matapalo, supporting circular sustainability and local agriculture.
Making an Impact
We partnered with several local organizations over the last few years—including ACCAI, CEPIA, Clean Wave, Guanacaste Literacy, La Paz, among others—to expand our reach across multiple communities. Their work helped us impact over 1,500 children in the area, reinforcing the foundation’s core pillars: public safety, access to education, infrastructure development, and environmental sustainability.
